Cultivating a Love of Service

On Feb. 15 at 7 PM, the Metropolis Religious Education Com-mittee is hosting a presentation offered by Fr. Patrick Tishel entitled “Cultivating A Love of Service” that is open to all. In addition to being headmaster and co-founder of St. Herman of Alaska Christian School, Fr. Tishel is parish priest at Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church in Allston, MA. Among the ministries he started is a weekly soup kitchen that has been serving nutritious, homemade meals for more than 30 years.

Fr. Tishel is a frequent speaker and teacher who has appeared in countless interviews and talks, many of which can be found online. Stay tuned to Metropolis social media outlets (and your email) for a forthcoming registration link.
